Biography

 

Prof. Dheeraj Sharma has served as the Director of IIM Rohtak since 2017 and is a distinguished academic leader and former Professor at IIM Ahmedabad
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing Strategy) with dual minors in Psychology and Quantitative Analysis from Louisiana Tech University, USA.

During his tenure as IIM Rohtak Director, Prof. Sharma has overseen major expansions including the launch of the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), Integrated Programme in Law (IPL), executive and analytics programs, and significant infrastructure growth.
He has also shaped policy and governance as a member of the Economic Advisory Council of Haryana and through advisory roles to various Ministries and institutions.

Prof. Sharma has been recognized with prestigious honors such as the Education Leadership Award (2019) and the Distinguished Global Thought Leader accolade at the AGBA World Congress in 2025. His international academic footprint spans teaching and research across North America, Europe, and Asia.
